New bistro looking for 2 dedicated and experienced cooks to support our current staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, experience cooking in a commercial environment and demonstrate expertise in food preparation. This role requires excellent communication skills and time management skills.
Duties
Oversee food preparation processes to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and dietary needs.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
Skills in serving, meal preparation, cooking, and food handling are essential.
Completion of food safety course and knowledge of regulations and best practices is required.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
