We are seeking a full-time Conveyancing Assistant to join our team, providing dedicated support for an experienced lawyer in a busy and well-established practice.
Location: Central Alberta (applicants must reside locally)
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in a law office, with a focus on real estate transactions.
Salary: To be negotiated based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and managing residential and commercial real estate files from open to close
Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports
Conducting title searches and registrations
Liaising with clients, lenders, realtors, and other legal professionals
Managing deadlines and file documentation with attention to detail
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a legal assistant role, preferably with real estate files
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
