LPT Realty is seeking a highly skilled Conveyancer to play a key role in managing and overseeing real estate transaction compliance across Canada in multiple provinces. This role requires specialized expertise in Canadian real estate regulations, conveyancing procedures, and transaction management systems such as SkySlope and Dotloop.
The Conveyancer will work closely with the legal and compliance teams to ensure all transactions adhere to provincial and national real estate regulations. This position requires, risk assessment, and the ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory standards. Additionally, the Conveyancer will manage transaction-related invoicing, reporting, and compliance processes at a strategic level.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a compliance expert for real estate transactions, ensuring adherence to all Canadian real estate laws and regulations.
Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews of transaction files in SkySlope, identifying and resolving potential risks.
Provide guidance and interpretation of compliance policies and real estate regulations to internal teams and agents.
Track, process, and oversee invoice management related to real estate transactions.
Maintain detailed compliance reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Stay informed of changes in real estate law and compliance trends, ensuring company policies remain current.
Provide additional support to brokerage operations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in conveyancing, real estate compliance, or regulatory oversight.
Deep knowledge of Canadian real estate laws and compliance requirements across multiple provinces.
Experience using SkySlope (or similar transaction management platforms).
Proven ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory standards to real estate transactions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex transaction reviews efficiently.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and advise internal teams on compliance matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a real estate brokerage, regulatory agency, or law firm handling real estate compliance.
Familiarity with provincial real estate regulations across multiple jurisdictions in Canada.
Experience in policy development, compliance auditing, or risk management within the real estate industry.
Experience with real estate compliance in Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan and B.C.
