Conveyancer

to join our Solicitor Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment and have experience in residential or commercial real estate transactions, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing files from start to finish. Prepare and review contracts of purchase and sale, title searches, mortgage documentation, and other legal documents. Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth file completion. Conduct due diligence, including reviewing legal descriptions, titles, and encumbrances. Draft correspondence, statements of adjustments, and registration documentation. Maintain organized, accurate file records in compliance with firm and regulatory standards. Provide excellent client service through timely communication and updates. Assist solicitors with additional real estate and corporate matters as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of conveyancing experience, preferably in a law firm setting. Strong understanding of real estate law, conveyancing procedures, and land title systems. Proficiency with conveyancing software (e.g., ProSuite, Econveyance) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
