About the Role
Nasco Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable, professional Convention Services Associates to support a large-scale conference at a major downtown venue. Successful candidates will work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services: Welcome attendees, provide directions, and answer general questions.
Registration Support: Assist with attendee check-in, badge distribution, and registration system use.
Session Support: Track attendance, scan badges, and assist with session logistics.
Logistics Assistance: Support set-up, transitions between event areas, and post-event tasks.
Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and event procedures.
Teamwork: Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues; report issues promptly.
Requirements
Previous experience in event staffing, customer service, or hospitality is an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Comfortable using mobile apps and basic technology (training provided).
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
