Position: CPA-Designated Controller
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (hybrid 1-2 days in-office)
Job Type: 9-month contract (approximately)
Are you a skilled financial professional ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our prestigious client? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CPA-Designated Controller for a 9-month contract with our downtown Toronto-based client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy Mastery: Leverage your CPA expertise to develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with the client\'s business objectives.
- Compliance Leadership: Navigate the complexities of financial regulations and ensure the client\'s adherence to all standards and reporting requirements.
- Precise Financial Reporting: Generate accurate and timely financial statements, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies that support overall business goals.
- Cost Efficiency Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings, implement efficient financial processes, and contribute to the client\'s financial sustainability.
Qualifications:

- CPA designation is mandatory
- 5 years of proven experience in a Controller or similar financial leadership role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
