About the Opportunity

Walsh King LLP is assisting one of our clients, a privately owned company with revenues exceeding $30 million, in recruiting for a Controller.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the owners, the Controller is responsible for directing the accounting team, managing all aspects of the accounting and finance function, liaising with bankers, lawyers, external accountants, etc.

This opportunity will appeal to individuals who enjoy working in a friendly, supportive and informal office environment with a predicable work schedule.

Experience in the construction industry would be an asset.

Qualifications:

Canadian Certified Public Accountant ("CPA") designation 10 years experience in a variety of accounting roles and responsibilities Ability to work independently Excellent communication skills
