Controller
Job Summary:
The Controller will be responsible for all aspects of accurate and timely reporting of financial information as well as oversight of the full cycle accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable and month end closes.
Reports To:
CFO
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial reporting including monthly financial statements and analysis.
Forecasts of income and cash flows.
Government agency & bank compliance reporting.
Assistance with enterprise-wide process documentation and performance dashboards.
Oversight and implementation of accounting controls and policies.
Develop models and projections to estimate what finances will look like over a course of time.
Liaise with auditors and preparation of year end working papers.
Preparation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts.
Mentorship and supervision of finance staff.
Overseas all organizational requirements such as:
Assist Finance staff as needed
Prepare the Month end consolidation
Review, implement accounting policies and management report recommendations from Auditor.
Coordinate Year-end audit with auditors and annual compliance including year-end entries as required.
Other duties as required by the CFO.

Experience & Education
Professional accounting designation (CPA) required
7-10 years of progressive and practical accounting experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Netsuite experience an asset
Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and be highly organized
Experience working with Clients and Profits software and/or Sage 300 ERP considered an asset
Previous experience working in a team or virtual environment and matrix organization an asset
