Our client is looking for a strong manager who can oversee finances and manage multiple initiatives and projects. If you thrive on change and are motivated to make improvements, this role is for you! Reporting to the Director of Finance, the main responsibilities include:
Manage direct reports and departmental goals and provide ongoing coaching and development
Manage daily finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, general ledger, payroll and banking
Lead budget and forecast preparation
Ensure efficiency and productivity of company accounting systems
Manage working capital requirements and investments
Develop, implement and monitor finance policies
Prepare financial reports and provide analysis
Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
Complete Yearly audited financial statements and manage annual audits
Other duties as requested
There is tremendous opportunity for ongoing growth in this organization. If you are tech savvy and have implemented ERPs in the past, that is a huge bonus as they are in the process of choosing a new ERP system. Managing others is also an integral part of this role as well as collaborating with managers daily. Communication is the key in this successful team! Qualifications Mandatory: The main qualifications for this role include:
Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
CPA designation
5+ years progressive experience, including supervisory experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Definite Assets:
Bilingual
Non-profit and/or high-tech industry experience
Experience implementing new ERP systems
What\'s the Bottom Line:
$100,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $125,000 annual salary
