Job Description
:Our client, BC\'s top heavy construction company on the North Shore, is looking for an experienced Financial Controller. The company values hard work, innovation, commitment, and integrity. This position will suite an experienced and motivated individual with a strong background in corporate accounting, preferably within the construction industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire accounting cycle, including Accounts Receivable (Oversight), Accounts Payable and Payroll.
- Ensure Taxation Compliance/Payments and prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial reports.
- Handle Cash Flow, Tax, and Investment Planning to optimize financial growth of the company.
- Assist in Human Resources tasks in conjunction with business owners.
- 7+ of experience in small to medium sized corporate accounting.
- 4+ years experience in a similar controller/accounting manager role.
- Familiarity with full-cycle accounting procedures.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant accounting software.
