Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in the accounting operations and financial management of the company.
Qualifications:
Professional Accounting designation required
5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Able to respond quickly within a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline sensitive environment
Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity
Advanced skills in desktop applications particularly with excel
Experience working with ERP systems
Proficiency in Dynamics 365 and Power BI, with the ability to build and interpret financial dashboards and approval workflows, would be considered a significant asset
This position requires candidates to:
Maintain quality control over financial information and reporting
Comply with government reporting requirements
Oversee preparation of corporate tax filings
Develop and document processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Assist with Maintaining Japanese SOX compliance
Manage External Audit
Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Manage and support preparation of timely monthly financial statements
Assist leaders in identifying areas of opportunity in generating profit & controlling expenses
Assist with managing cash flow, treasury and banking requirements
