Position: Controller
Location: Laval
Salary: $100K to $130K per year

Our large-scale client in the construction industry is currently hiring a Controller for their office.

Tasks:

- Report to the VP of Finance
- Supervise accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivables and 2 Accountants
- Develop KPIs
- Revenue recognition of work in progress of projects
- Analyze monthly financial statements
- Prepare, review and analyze budgets, and compare to the prior year
- Prepare and review accounting reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Implement an ERP system
- Prepare management reports
- Analyze profit margin by business unit
- Maintain and oversee costing and pricing of projects
- Generate various weekly, monthly and yearly financial reports

What you need to succeed in this role:

- University degree in Accounting and Finance
- Autonomy, attention to detail and team spirit
- Creativity and good communication skills
- French reporting skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Excellent sense of responsibility and analytical skills
