We're are currently seeking an accomplished

Controller

to join our leadership team. This hands-on role will oversee critical finance and accounting requirements as we continue to enhance and improve on our success as an organization.

What You'll Do

You will be tasked with a number of duties that include, but are not limited to:

All finance related tasks for the primary operating and parent companies Oversight, leadership, and development of operations' personnel Month End and Year End financial reporting and closing Maintain banking relationships Create finance protocols Manage insurance requirements Oversee accounting functions as well as payroll processes Budget reviews Attend regularly scheduled leadership meetings Reporting directly to the managing partner (GM) and Shareholders Managing the Construction bonding process Contract management between CRM (Landscape Management Network) and QuickBooks Fleet asset management Project profitability tracking using quickbooks. Forecasting cash flow based on different revenue streams and collections cycles

What You'll Bring

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

At least 5 years' experience as a controller, ideally with knowledge of project management, construction, or service industries A wide breadth of accounting, finance and treasury management knowledge, and confidence in that knowledge Knowledge of and experience with QuickBooks online Advanced proficiency with MS Excel You love analyzing data and are a wizard at financial reporting Strong background in cash flow analysis Able to juggle multiple tasks and complete projects on time Keen ability to connect with others and develop teams Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline combined with an accounting designation are assets High level of tact and trustworthiness Excellent written and verbal communication s kills Adaptability and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Pay: $100,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
