Controller
to lead our accounting and finance operations and serve as a trusted partner to the executive team.
In this key leadership role, you'll oversee all aspects of financial management, from reporting and forecasting to process improvement and risk mitigation. As a hands-on leader, you'll drive operational excellence, mentor your team, and ensure the company's financial integrity. You'll play a critical role on the executive leadership team, contributing insights that shape business strategy and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Direct and manage company-wide financial reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with the President/CEO and leadership team to drive strategic decision-making, business planning, and financial forecasting.
Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, integrating financial insights with operational objectives to support sustainable growth.
Financial Operations Oversight:
Oversee all general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and benefits administration functions.
Ensure month-end and year-end close processes are efficient, accurate, and completed on schedule.
Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor a growing finance and administrative team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Set clear goals, support professional development, and ensure strong alignment across the finance function.
Process Optimization & Systems Management:
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability.
Oversee the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and leveraging it for improved financial insights.
Serve as the key liaison for outsourced IT operations, ensuring technology supports the company's strategic and operational needs.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support cost management, inventory control, and margin optimization.
Provide oversight and analysis of rebate and incentive programs, ensuring profitability and compliance.
Partner with Human Resources to provide financial oversight and strategic input on compensation and benefits.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal control frameworks to mitigate risks and support business continuity.
Stay current with financial regulations and ensure adherence to all legal, tax, and corporate governance requirements.
General Support:
As a leader in a family-run, mid-sized organization, support cross-departmental needs during peak periods to maintain seamless operations and uphold WOW! Factor's commitment to excellence.
What Makes You a Great Match?
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
CPA designation required.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 4 years in a senior financial leadership role.
Proven experience leading teams and managing full-cycle accounting operations.
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SAP experience an asset).
