Job Overview



We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's growth. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Perform variance analysis and prepare insightful reports for management.
Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP).

Accounting Operations:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Manage general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
Assist in the evaluation of capital expenditures and other investment opportunities.

Internal Controls:
Assist in the development and maintenance of strong internal controls.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Project Support:
Participate in special projects as assigned, such as system implementations or process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
