About the Company?Our client is a leading distribution company. They are looking for a Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective supervision of the finance team, efficient payroll processing, and continuous process improvement. Overseeing Company Medical benefits.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets and ensure long-term financial stability.Accounts Receivable Supervision: Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments and accurate recording of transactions.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets and ensure long-term financial stability.Communication: Maintain effective communication with branches and management to ensure alignment and support for financial initiatives and policies.Collaboration: Work closely with branches and management to provide financial insights and support for decision-making processes.Sales Tax Filing: Oversee the preparation and filing of sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.WCB Filing: Manage the preparation and filing of Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) reports, ensuring accurate and timely submission.About You?Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and payroll processing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience in distribution industry is an asset.Salary Range?$120,000 - $130,000/year??How to Apply?Click the xe2x80x9cApply Nowxe2x80x9d button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
