What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Lead and oversee all financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing , ensuring compliance with IFRS/ASPE.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST/PST filings, and regulatory requirements in Canada and the U.S.

Accounting & Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions , including AP/AR, payroll, and inventory costing.
• Implement and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting structures .
• Manage financial relationships with banks, auditors, and tax advisors .
• Leadership & Strategy
• Lead and mentor a small but high-performing finance team .
• Partner with senior management to drive profitability and financial efficiency.
• Optimize ERP and financial systems for better reporting, automation, and scalability .

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

? CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) is required.
? 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or import/export industries .
? Experience with IFRS/ASPE , financial controls, and cost accounting.
? Strong understanding of inventory management, multi-entity operations, and intercompany transactions .
? Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) .
? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,211.38-$134,451.59 per year
