Main Responsibilities:- Plan, direct and coordinate all operational accounting functions- Manage the accumulation and reconciliation of all financial data required to account for business results- Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements- Coordinate the activities of external auditors- Provide management with essential information to make informed decisions- Manage the budget process- Develop and monitor business performance measures (KPIs)- Oversee regulatory obligations, which often include tax planning and compliance.Other responsibilities:- Form a close working relationship with the Managing Director, other senior managers and non-executives.- Contribute fully to strategy development in all areas of the businesses, challenging assumptions and decision-making, and providing financial analysis and advice on all activities, plans, targets and operational factors- Ensure that corporate financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth- Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties, including customers.Fed Finance CanadaFounded in 2001, Fed Finance is a recruitment agency that is specialized in accounting and finance positions.
