Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated

Control Systems Engineer

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize control systems for a variety of applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that meet client needs.


Design, implement, and maintain control systems, including hardware and software integration. Prepare technical documentation, including datasheets and system specifications. Develop control algorithms, control narratives, and system logic for automation applications. Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications. Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of work experience in control systems engineering. Strong understanding of control theory, automation systems, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS). Experience with CAD software for electrical schematics. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is an asset. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development is an asset. Familiarity with advanced technologies such as IoT, AI, or machine learning in control applications is an asset. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to exercise good judgment in prioritizing work. Ability to work in a dynamic work environment. Professional team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A positive, "can-do" attitude.
