Nous recherchons un controleur adjoint experimente, minutieux et motive pour rejoindre notre equipe de Terrebonne, au Quebec. Cette personne jouera un role cle dans la promotion de l'excellence financiere, en fournissant des informations strategiques et en gerant les processus comptables et financiers essentiels.



Responsabilites principales



Le controleur adjoint soutiendra les operations financieres de l'organisation en accomplissant les taches suivantes :

Gerer le processus de cloture de fin de mois, y compris la preparation des ecritures comptables, les rapprochements et les etats financiers (compte de resultat, bilan et flux de tresorerie). Etablir et ameliorer en permanence les rapports et les indicateurs financiers afin d'ameliorer la prise de decision et de favoriser l'amelioration des processus. Preparer et soumettre des rapports financiers mensuels et trimestriels a la direction de l'entreprise, y compris les principaux etats financiers et indicateurs operationnels. Effectuer des analyses financieres afin d'identifier les tendances, d'appuyer la prise de decision et de favoriser l'amelioration des operations. Appuyer le processus budgetaire annuel et les cycles de prevision mensuels/trimestriels. Fournir des outils d'analyse financiere afin d'appuyer la budgetisation et la prevision des programmes, des depenses en capital et des projets speciaux. Exercer un controle rigoureux du fonds de roulement et des flux de tresorerie afin d'assurer le respect des objectifs budgetaires. Appuyer les efforts de recouvrement des comptes clients, resoudre les litiges lies aux factures et superviser les processus lies aux comptes fournisseurs. Collaborer avec la direction pour expliquer les resultats financiers, identifier les ameliorations operationnelles et gerer les projets financiers. Diriger et coordonner les audits fiscaux, en veillant au respect de toutes les exigences en matiere d'audit. Veiller au respect des normes comptables applicables (ASPE, GAAP), des exigences reglementaires et des politiques internes. Superviser les processus de gestion des stocks, y compris le comptage cyclique et le processus d'inventaire physique annuel. Soutenir les efforts de calcul des couts et la comptabilite analytique afin d'ameliorer la visibilite operationnelle et la rentabilite. Tirer parti de l'expertise des systemes ERP pour soutenir la mise en oeuvre, les mises a niveau et l'optimisation continue des systemes financiers. Mener des initiatives d'amelioration des processus afin d'accroitre l'efficacite, la precision et l'evolutivite des operations financieres.

Qualifications et exigences



Formation et certification :



Un baccalaureat en comptabilite ou en finance est requis. Le titre de CPA est preferable.

Experience :



Au moins 5 ans d'experience dans le domaine de la finance ou de la comptabilite, de preference dans le secteur manufacturier. Une experience dans un environnement de capital-investissement en pleine evolution, axe sur la croissance de l'EBITDA, est un atout. Une experience en comptabilite de projet, en comptabilite analytique ou en comptabilite des couts est un atout. Une experience avec des logiciels de consolidation/reporting financier (par exemple, Hyperion, HFM) est un atout.

Competences :



Maitrise avancee de Microsoft Excel (par exemple, tableaux croises dynamiques, fonctions RECHERCHEV, macros) et d'autres applications Microsoft Office. Solides competences en matiere d'analyse et de resolution de problemes, avec une capacite averee a interpreter les donnees financieres et a communiquer des informations pertinentes a la direction. Excellentes competences organisationnelles et capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites dans un environnement en constante evolution. Solides competences interpersonnelles et communicationnelles, avec une maitrise parfaite de l'anglais et du francais.

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated Assistant Controller to join our Terrebonne, Quebec team. This individual will play a key role in driving financial excellence, providing strategic insights, and managing essential accounting and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Controller will support the organization's financial operations by performing the following duties:

Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow). Establish and continuously improve financial reports and metrics to enhance decision-making and drive process improvements. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports to corporate leadership, including key financial statements and operational metrics. Perform financial analyses to identify trends, support decision-making, and drive operational improvements. Support the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles. Provide financial analysis tools to support budgeting and forecasting for programs, capital expenditures, and special projects. Exercise tight control of working capital and cash flow to ensure adherence to budgeted targets. Support AR collections efforts, resolve disputed invoices, and oversee AP processes. Collaborate with leadership to explain financial results, identify operational improvements, and manage financial projects. Lead and coordinate tax audits, ensuring compliance with all audit requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (ASPE, GAAP), regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counting and the annual physical inventory process. Support costing efforts and job cost accounting to improve operational visibility and profitability. Leverage ERP systems expertise to support implementation, upgrades, and ongoing optimization of financial systems. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across financial operations.

Qualifications and Requirements



Education and Certification:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA designation is preferred.

Experience:



Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a fast-paced private equity environment focused on driving EBITDA growth is an asset. Project accounting, job cost accounting, or cost accounting experience is beneficial. Experience with financial consolidation/reporting software (e.g., Hyperion, HFM) is an asset.

Skills:



Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights to leadership. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both English and French required.
