As a Contracts and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for Contract Strategies and Supplier Relationship Management working with the Project Execution and/or Major Outage Groups and ensuring the supply plan is optimized across Irving Oil. Your goal will be to drive efficiency, enhance supplier collaboration, and implement sourcing strategies that support business objectives. Your success will be measured by streamlined procurement processes, impactful sourcing strategies, and strong supplier relationships.

Your Responsibilities:Support and implement contract strategies for Project Execution or Major Outage groups
Support strategic sourcing initiatives to drive value and cost savings
Manage supplier contracts, relationships, and performance
Optimize the P2P process for efficiency and compliance
Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks
Support supplier relationship management and continuous improvement efforts
Ensure adherence to supply management policies and best practices
Monitor and resolve supplier performance issues in partnership with business stakeholders
Your Skills:Strong organizational and analytical skills to drive results
Effective communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building abilities
An ability to network and build relationships
Ability to work as part of a team, build relationships and adhere to Supply Management Policies and procedures.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Comfortable in a construction environment where field visits require you to wear full PPE as per our safety standards
Your Experience:University Degree in Business, related field of study or relevant experience
Minimum 5-7 years' experience within contracts and procurement roles
