Job Description


  • This role works directly with the Vice President, Retail Fuel, as well as Business Development Managers and Department leads to generate, organize, monitor, maintain and review leases, contracts, agreements, and program reports.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Contracts and Leasing
  • Responsible for the organizing, reviewing and maintenance of legal agreements in relation to MacEwen branded and Esso branded outlets, including leases and other legal agreements.
  • Advises management of the expiry dates of leases, TSSA licenses, operator agreements and insurance certificates on a periodic basis.
  • Responds to customer enquiries and complaints working with the respective manager to ensure a follow-up process to document each situation.
  • Calculation of common area charges for third party leases, billing and support on collection of accounts when required.
Other
  • Provides administrative support for V.P\xe2\x80\x99s and Territory Managers.
  • Maintains the broker files for the Operations Manager, encompassing insurance certificates, CVOR licenses, driver carding updates and other information as required.
  • Prepares spreadsheets to track progress of special projects or programs for multiple sites.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed or assumed on personal initiative, reasonable and commensurate with the role.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in business, administration, communications or English is advantageous.
  • Previous experience drafting or managing contracts would be an asset.
  • High degree of practical experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Candidate must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information.
  • High degree of professionalism is required, as this role has regular interactions with colleagues, customers and Leadership Team
