As a Contractor Sales Representative, you'll be the go-to expert for local contractors, builders, and renovation professionals. You'll provide exceptional service, accurate product knowledge, and reliable solutions--all while building long-term partnerships that support our community and fuel our store's growth.

What You'll Do

Serve as the primary contact for contractor customers--both in-store and through outbound communication Build strong relationships by understanding project needs and providing tailored product recommendations Prepare accurate material take-offs, quotes, and estimates Drive sales by promoting core building materials, lumber, hardware, and seasonal product categories Coordinate orders, deliveries, special orders, and follow-ups to ensure contractors stay on schedule Collaborate with yard, purchasing, and operations teams to provide a seamless customer experience Stay current on Home Hardware programs, flyers, promotions, and brand standards Represent the store with professionalism, reliability, and pride in every interaction

? What You Bring

Proven experience in contractor sales, building materials, construction, or a related field Strong product knowledge (lumber, building supplies, hardware, and project-based materials) Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail--accuracy matters! A team-first attitude and a desire to go above and beyond Experience with quoting software or POS systems is an asset

Pay: $31,913.87-$118,164.18 per year
