We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an IT Operations Analyst and is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement.
This is a contractor position.
The Opportunity:
The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the performance obligations of in-house computing systems are met, and specifically for driving SCCM administration activities.
In this role you\xe2\x80\x99ll:
Support project managers, systems administrators, and end users to define systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Participate in projects and program initiatives as technical SMEs in the areas of desktop computing, configuration and equipment setup, images and software installations, support and productivity tools, monitoring and automated updates.
Install new software releases and system upgrades, and participate in release management planning.
Planned, tested, and install system updates and assisted with coming up with the annual Operations roadmap for upgrades.
Participate in the planning of hardware refreshes
Assist database administrators, programmers, software engineers, and network analysts in the deployment and performance analysis of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Work within the production change control process.
Ensure ITIL practices are adhered to at all times.
Evaluate and install patches on the desktop (install-only on the server).
Provide tier 1/2 support for the firewalls and switches.
Responsible for image creation and maintenance (after the base image is created).
Responsible for job scheduling, Windows print services, basic filer administration, and User ID administration.
Perform system backups and recovery.
Maintain data files and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Monitor and respond to network outages.
Monitor production batch processing, workflows, etc. for successful completion.
Document application job flows.
Gather and analyze data in support of systems management, maintenance, and performance.
Generate and compile reports, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.
Provide tier 2 system support and ticket resolution.
Provide tier 1 system support and ticket resolution when needed.
Perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
Analyze day-to-day functions and processes of software and database resources to ensure they are performing within predetermined guidelines, limits, and specifications.
Identify and resolve operating system issues in order to maintain services, enhance capabilities, and prevent system outages.
Responsible for Sharepoint, SCCM, and ServiceNow administration activities.
Maintain and update operational documentation.
Support and participate in SOX control audits
Provide support and backup coverage for the IT Field Services team

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you bring:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, or management information systems and five to seven (5-7) years related work experience.
Proven experience in the operation and analysis of hardware, software, and standards.
Sharepoint Online administration/development experience
Intermediate skills and current experience with SCCM 2016
Administration/hands-on experience with some/all of the following:
MDM - InTune/EMS
ServiceNow
Office 365/Exchange Online
Active Directory
SentinelOne (or similar enterprise cloud AV solutions.
Hands-on experience in some/all of the following:
OS Imaging/Deployment
Software/Application packaging
Script writing (Powershell)
Database scripts (SQL)
Configuration files
Patch management (Software/Windows Update)
Familiarity and practical application of cyber security fundamentals.
Familiarity and practical application of ITIL practices in the areas of Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Asset Management.
Experience supporting Apple products in an enterprise environment would be an asset (iOS and MacOS devices).
