Come build a rewarding career at Rogers and be a driving force behind our success story!Who we\'re looking for:Supporting Rogers\' various business units, you will be principally responsible for providing legal and strategic support to Rogers Business, which provides products and services to business customers. In addition, you will work on a broad range of corporate/commercial matters supporting Rogers\' network, wholesale, and carrier relations teams, working at the forefront of building and maintaining Rogers\' industry leading fibre network.What you\'ll do:Prepare and draft various legal contracts, documents and correspondence, including extensions, terminations, amendments and non-disclosure agreements;Assist and provide administrative support, including assistance with correspondence, managing files and status tracking;Formalize, document, and maintain legal best practices and processes;Incorporate / comply with Corporate legal contract management;Provide comprehensive review of key legal documents during the negotiation stage;Propose alternate contract language where required;Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sales and Senior Management as appropriate;Assist in the review and coordination of RFP submissions;Maintain all key document template control;Perform all duties in compliance with Rogers\' current and applicable processes, templates, checklists and tools;Support the development of Contract Management Plans as appropriate;Support the administration of contract amendments affecting relevant Terms and Conditions;Keep appropriately current with applicable law;Assist with projects as required;Various other duties as required;What you bring:Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a legal environment, experience in contract law preferred;Post-secondary education in law or business. Law School degree, Law Clerk or Paralegal certificate or diploma preferred;Strong legal contract drafting knowledge, with experience in the contract administration process;Self motivated with strong organizational skills - able to work independently with little supervision;Strong business acumen;Thorough knowledge of applicable legal terminology, contract language interpretation, and Terms and Conditions;Strong Microsoft Office, iManage, and DocuSign application familiarity;Strong communication skills - oral and written are essential;Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure;Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines;What\'s in it for you?We believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team.
