Collectio Wine Imports is seeking qualified contract Sales Agent - Wine/Spirits for the Edmonton Market. Focus on chain and independent retail along with On-Premise Sales. The successful candidate must have an excellent track record in the industry. Product knowledge/enthusiasm for wines & spirits is also required. Previous retail and on-premises account selling experience is required. Great opportunity for someone looking for a change to work for a boutique importer with great products and many on-premise clients that are well known.

Potential candidates must have completed basic wine education/appreciation courses (WSET 2); have a passion for wine and spirits. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience.

Skills:

2+ years Proven experience in sales, preferably in the beverage industry Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft cocktails, along with a passion for luxury products. Skilled at closing the sale. Effective oral and written communication skills. Professional presentation and recognized ability for persuasive sales. Leadership and ability to influence major accounts. Ability to analyze statistics for targeting sales. Ability to set and execute high standards of performance. Advanced organization and planning skills and the ability to respect tight schedules. Bachelor's degree or related business experience preferred. Enjoys learning so you are on top of market trends and new opportunities (e.g. connecting with new establishments, seeking opportunities to place our products that would benefit their customers).

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing sales and distribution in retail and on-premise channels

Be responsible for maintaining quality customer relationships, developing new relationships or business upon your network to grow brand equity and sales

Take an owner mindset for the region and uncover sales opportunities to maximize potential from all channels
