Working within the Business and Productivity Portfolio, contract Facilitators will deliver training courses and programs to open enrolment and international students. Daytime weekday instructors are being recruited to teach in the following subject areas: * Leadership, Coaching, and Leading Others

  • Facilitation, Collaboration, & Communication
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills & Tools
  • Business Planning & Strategic Planning
NOTE: Instructors must have weekday daytime availability. Please indicate your daytime teaching availability (when, how often) in your submission.

The successful candidates will possess extensive experience and subject matter expertise relating to the program content noted above. Ideally

candidates will have taught courses and workshops previously and have an active learning focus as part of their course delivery capabilities.

Courses are delivered during the daytime mostly on campus with some online.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct instruction utilizing appropriate instructional strategies to maximize student motivation and learning in a skill-building environment
  • Utilize appropriate education technology for communications and presentations
  • Maintain professional ethical relationships with students and colleagues; respond professionally to student issues and concerns; submit marks/records promptly.
Qualifications:
  • A related undergraduate degree plus 10 years or more of direct significant experience in the related field OR graduate degree with related experience.
  • Experienced with the training and facilitation of adult learners in a face-to-face and online environment using a variety of engagement techniques
  • A NAIT Becoming a Master Instructor (BMI) certificate would be a definite asset.
  • Skilled in MS Office suite and collaboration tools.
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to prepare and present a lesson on a provided topic. Candidates should specifically list which program/topic areas they have interest in from the list above.
