Omar Aviation is seeking an experienced mechanic to support ongoing restoration projects. Ideal for mechanics who want flexible scheduling and project-based work.
Duties
Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections
Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
Repair, adjust, replace, or overhaul aircraft components (airframe, powerplant, and systems)
Complete daily inspections, service checks
Follow maintenance procedures as per OEM manuals and regulatory standards
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the work area
Install or remove components, panels, and assemblies as required
Perform corrosion control, fluid servicing, and hardware replacement
Experience
Working independently on specific maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
Adapting quickly to different aircraft types, work environments, and operator requirements
Performing maintenance efficiently without sacrificing safety or compliance
Managing time effectively while working across multiple contract assignments
Extensive hands-on experience performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of aircraft
Capable of performing detailed inspections and identifying wear, corrosion, and system discrepancies
Familiar with a range of aircraft types depending on project needs (piston, turbine, GA, commercial, or rotary-wing)
Wages negotiable based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $22.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
