We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Contract Counsellor to join our team.


The Contract Counsellor will provide professional mental health and/or addiction counselling, consultative, and supportive services. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments identifying client's personal challenges and implementing in-depth prevention and therapeutic intervention plans. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be values-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Core Competencies

Conduct comprehensive assessments through in-depth interviews to determine mental health and counselling needs of individuals, families, and groups. Formulate and implement therapeutic interventions and strategies tailored to each client's needs. Listen attentively and empathetically to clients' concerns and issues. Deliver education and psychoeducation to clients and families on mental health topics to help individuals overcome obstacles and achieve personal objectives. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients. Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in counselling and mental health support.
If you: possess the above core competencies; have a master's degree in counselling, psychology, or social work; registration with a college or Association where a college does not exist, and valid professional liability insurance, and a great(!) attitude; then we would love to hear from you.
