Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at La Palma Spa in Calgary. This role is crucial in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch wellness experiences. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our growth.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable. Maintain accurate financial records using Wave Accounting. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure account accuracy. Prepare monthly financial reports for management review. Collaborate with the management team to support financial decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper for small businesses. Proficiency in accounting software such as Wave Accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Experience with payroll processing is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
