Midland Transport is currently seeking a
Continuous Improvement Assistant
(4-month summer student - May-August) at our Head Office. The selected candidate will be supporting business leadership executing business improvement initiatives using analytics and change management methodologies to help drive continuous improvement.

Plan and execute process improvement events, Value Stream Mapping, articulate analytical findings in clear and concise deliverables, including presentations, discussions, and visualization
Document current processes, and collect and analyze data as required
Promote standard work within the company
Support process improvement training initiatives
Work closely with the management team to develop change management plans
Assist in completing Government rebate applications
Aid with reliability projects when needed
Currently enrolled in post-secondary education Engineering degree program.

Willingness to learn new concepts and business improvement methodologies
