PuroClean Property Paramedics provide 24-Hour emergency services and cleaning to people who have suffered water, fire and mold loss to their homes and businesses.

Employee Responsibilities will include:

Sorting and packing of contents in such a manner as to avoid any damages. Cleaning and restoring contents after a loss. Listing content that has been deemed non-restorable. Returning content and resetting as per photos taken on pack-out. Utilizing various computer programs and mobile apps to facilitate processes. Assisting other team members with setting up equipment, property deconstruction, debris removal, asbestos abatement, and any other activities requiring assistance. Completion of basic vehicle maintenance inspections and cleaning; including vehicle restocking to ensure service readiness at all times. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization. Repeated heavy lifting and handling loads of various size, shape and weight. Mandatory participation in the On Call schedule for servicing after hours emergencies on a rotating basis. Safety consideration as a first priority in all situations, especially during restoration activities, to include the proper use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory

Legally eligible to work in Canada Valid Class 5 driver's license Clean criminal record Must pass entrance driving record check and be insurable Corporate mandate for periodic drug screening and background checks To be available and respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year as required and/or scheduled; participation in On Call rotation Consistently maintain high level of excellent customer satisfaction
Physical

Reasonable level of physical fitness with no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and/or conditions of the work environments customary for this type of work. This is a physically demanding industry. You must be capable of moving furniture and other household contents as well as required equipment Must be able to work in confined spaces (crawlspaces and attics) Able to work for extended periods of time in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Updated immunizations/vaccinations, especially Hepatitis A & B and tetanus.
General

High school diploma or GED Basic-level computer literacy Mature, reliable and punctual Effective verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills and great sensitivity to customers' difficult situations Good problem solving, decision making and analytical skills Superior organizational skills Hardworking, trainable and work well in a team-oriented setting Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively A highly professional image Ability to work overtime and on-call hours (nights and weekends) as required Ability to drive larger vehicles i.e. Commercial Vans, Trucks, Trailers, etc.
Previous experience in the restoration industry is an asset.
