As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, writing, adapting, and translating content for the web. You will contribute to developing and maintaining high standards for written communications across multiple platforms.
You will play a key role in creating blog content, establishing a consistent content structure, and developing guidelines for online product descriptions.
This role also involves creating content for social media and supporting the implementation of effective SEO strategies to optimize visibility and engagement. In collaboration with the website administrator and the marketing team, you will participate in the planning and execution of various digital and print marketing initiatives.
Scope of the Role
Create and implement standards and best practices for online product descriptions
Write content for social media campaigns
Collaborate on strategy and execution of newsletters, web promotions, and other marketing projects
Write and publish blog content aligned with brand voice and marketing goals
Conduct research, watch expert videos, or interview specialists to write blog articles and press releases
Publish content on Bain Depot's digital platforms
Optimize blog and website content to improve SEO performance
Design and maintain a scalable content structure for digital platforms
Responsibilities
Research, write, translate, and integrate technical content for product pages on the Bain Depot website
Review and proofread content for print and digital formats
Translate marketing and technical documents while respecting tone, context, and accuracy
Contribute to the planning and development of marketing and e-commerce projects
Research and manage visual assets (e.g., product images)
Update and maintain tracking and documentation tools
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content consistency with business objectives
Conduct research, view expert videos, or interview professionals to create blog articles and press releases
Publish content across Bain Depot's digital platforms
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in content creation, copywriting, or a similar role
Strong experience in web writing and SEO-driven content strategy
Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
