About the Role: Content Producer - Video & Multimedia

Location:

Hybrid (In-o?ce in Oshawa, on-site at dealerships in the Durham Region, and remote)

The Novus Marketing Department is looking for a

creative and fast-moving Content Producer

to bring our dealership stories to life across platforms. This mobile role will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering compelling visual content--from long-form YouTube features to snappy social media Reels and Instagram stories.

You'll be working across six dealerships in the Durham Region, creating everything from in-depth feature videos to short-form content optimized for social engagement. You'll also capture photo content, create website visuals, and develop digital assets that support marketing campaigns and brand storytelling.

We're looking for someone with strong technical skills in videography, photography, and editing--along with an instinct for storytelling, timing, transitions, and visual design. You stay plugged into digital trends, research what's hot, and bring new ideas to the table.

Speed of execution is critical. You must be able to plan, shoot, and edit quickly while maintaining high production value and visual consistency. You'll often work independently on-site, so comfort navigating dealership environments and collaborating with various teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, shoot, and edit long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms Produce Reels, Stories, and short-form content optimized for engagement Capture high-quality photos and b-roll for websites, social media, and digital campaigns Design visuals and graphics for websites and marketing materials Stay on top of video and content trends, bringing fresh ideas and formats to the team Manage content planning and timelines to meet fast-paced production needs Work on-site at dealerships regularly and edit content either in-o?ce or from your home studio

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in video production and editing for digital platforms Skilled in shooting and editing both long-form and short-form video (YouTube, Reels, Stories) Pro?cient with editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve Experience with motion graphics and animation (After Effects or similar) Strong photography skills and image editing (Photoshop, Lightroom) Solid understanding of lighting, audio, composition, and visual pacing Up-to-date on content trends and platform best practices (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) Ability to produce web-ready visuals (image and video) Fast turnaround and strong time management under tight deadlines Able to work independently on location and manage shoots solo Must have access to a reliable vehicle for travel between dealerships Comfortable working with a variety of people in on-site environments Experience with Monday.com or similar project tools is a plus
