The Content Marketer will play a crucial role in driving inbound leads, increasing market awareness, and enhancing the company's online presence through engaging content creation and effective marketing strategies. The successful candidate will have a background in technology and possess strong writing skills, along with a proven portfolio of blogs and online content. Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop high-quality and engaging content for various digital platforms, including blog posts, articles, social media content, website copy, and press releases.
Inbound Lead Generation:
Drive inbound traffic to the company's website and landing pages through effective content marketing strategies.
Publicity and PR:
Develop and execute PR campaigns to increase brand visibility, secure media coverage, and establish strategic partnerships.
Press Releases:
Write compelling press releases to announce new products, company milestones, and other noteworthy events.
Social Media Management:
Manage and optimize social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram) to enhance brand awareness and engage with the target audience.
SEO Optimization:
Incorporate SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic to the company's website.
Graphic Design:
Modify and customize graphics to align with written materials and enhance visual appeal.
Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize traffic analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of content and marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and design, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
Professional Development:
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance content marketing strategies.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on technology-related industries.
Writing Skills:
Excellent writing skills with a portfolio of blogs and online content demonstrating creativity, clarity, and engagement.
Linux Knowledge:
Familiarity with Linux operating systems is considered an asset.
Social Media Proficiency:
Proficient in managing and leveraging social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
SEO and Analytics:
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with traffic analytics tools.
Graphic Design:
Ability to modify and customize graphics to align with written materials using relevant software tools.
Press Releases:
Demonstrated ability to write compelling and impactful press releases.
Team Player:
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Location:
Must be based in the Vancouver and able to work in-office.
