We are Moving2Canada, a multi-award winning platform committed to simplifying the move to Canada for our community. We are seeking a content marketing specialist passionate about delivering clear, captivating copy to a global audience. The position is open to candidates across Canada.

The successful candidate will be expected to integrate quickly and deliver impactful contributions across three core areas: content creation, social media writing, and email marketing communications.

The Content Marketer will work alongside our Digital Marketer, Head of Content Strategy, and other members of the marketing team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Primary Duties:

Produce engaging and relevant content to attract the attention of would-be immigrants to Canada and new arrivals. Repurpose and distribute content across social media and email channels. Write copy on behalf of commercial partners, including long-form guides, short-form content promoting job opportunities, lead-generation forms, and other sponsored materials. Research and draft e-guides, white papers, and other non-webpage content formats. Proofread and edit content prior to publication. Explore new ways to present, research, and verify information.

Primary Responsibilities

Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and easy to understand for audiences with varied English-language skills. Drive organic traffic growth by executing SEO recommendations efficiently and effectively. Identify gaps and emerging needs in content and recommend new topics or formats. Maintain and strengthen the consistency and appeal of the Moving2Canada brand. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Canada's immigration system and programs - or the ability to master this subject matter quickly.

Qualifications

An exciting portfolio.
A minimum of two years of content production experience.
Strong SEO fundamentals, including the ability to conduct keyword research and optimize existing content.
A creative mindset, with an eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Team player.
*These requirements may be waived if you already know Canada's immigration programs well and you write clearly and confidently.

Bonus points

Deep knowledge of Canada's banking and financial systems (double bonus points for strong copy you've had published on these and adjacent subjects) Understanding of social media platforms and specifications. You have an entrepreneurial streak and a start-up attitude - proactive, adaptable, and ready to make things happen. You have immigrated to Canada, or, if you are Canadian, you have moved location at least once in your adult life (you have unique insights into the journey!)

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
