What You'll Do

Our content editors are experienced professionals who provide the final review and professional editing of internal and external documentation. This includes articles, training scripts, website content, copyediting, and various other forms of content.



As a content editor you will:





Evaluate all forms of internal and external communication with respect to content, style, readability, organization, accuracy, and consistency. Perform proofreading and collaborate with the Senior Content Editor to ensure content is ready for publication. Review marketing materials and other copy and products as necessary. Make changes to ensure all communications are consistent and appropriately reflect the organization's brand and standards. Document and track all changes and discussions regarding changes. Verify source data, facts, and statistics using identified referencing standards, in collaboration with the HR compliance team. Read, detect, and correct language errors such as spelling and grammar. Discuss writing and content concerns with department leadership as needed. Use analytics to refine editorial choices and measure the effectiveness of potential changes.

Requirements

About You

You are an experienced content editor who:



Has a degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field. Possesses five or more years of related experience working with a variety of formats including platform copy, content, social media posts, e-mails, eLearning scripts, and so on. Can demonstrate strong research, analytical, and professional writing skills, along with superior copyediting and proofreading skills. Has experience writing and editing in a corporate environment using a variety of writing styles, as required for different audiences. Have experience working with AI writing and editing tools and possess the skill to ensure human oversight and originality.




It's a bonus if you:



Have knowledge of or previous experience with e-learning and instructional/educational writing. Are fluent in English and French!
