Who is our next content creator? The Content Creator is an essential part of the video team! You will harness your imagination and innovation - creating fresh and unique ideas that resonate with your audience. You have an eye for design and can communicate your vision clearly to our highly skilled and socially adept video team. This role will encompass research, ideation, shooting, video cuts, and writing! You possess the right project management skills to handle the gamut, and utilize your strong understanding of best practices for social platforms. You\xe2\x80\x99re diversely talented both behind and in front of the camera, and effortlessly connect with audiences through personality and ideation\xe2\x80\xa6 basically \xe2\x80\xa6 you are one with the metaverse. Video is an integral part of Diply\xe2\x80\x99s content, and you will be right in the center of the action! We want to know how you bring your own artistic expression and creativity to the world! Whether you\xe2\x80\x99re a budding foodie, a unique crafter, DIY transformer, or makeup artist extraordinaire \xe2\x80\xa6 the world is your oyster!
So, what exactly will you be doing?
- Creating original content: oversee the ideation pipeline; using your social proof as a guide to ideate and source inspiration. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for locating and maintaining product material inventory and testing props/materials to ensure smooth production. You\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate with producer/editors to provide feedback and ensure video edits are consistent in quality and align with brand standards. You\xe2\x80\x99ll keep a close eye on monitoring the platform analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaboration: supporting us in the creation of great content from licensed videos by working alongside the Licensing Manager and video team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be participating in brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders and providing input during initial development of new series. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be an integral part of pitching, production design, input on graphics, participating in pilot filming and reviewing edited pilots.
- Distribution: assisting with the review and approval of content packaging. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working with the video team, digital marketing, and key stakeholders to design the content release schedule. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be the key driver contributing to the growth and scale of our brands across multiple platforms!
You\xe2\x80\x99re a fit if you have the following...
- A stunner of a portfolio that highlights your creativity;
- A self-starter with an understanding of how to capture an audience, keep them engaged and craving more;
- A minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience (either personal or professional) in digital media environments;
- Well-versed in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects;
- A passion for creative video content, high attention to detail and a learned ability to assess the quality of the content;
- Experience and interest in engaging social media trends, creative trends, and engagement techniques;
- A collaborative spirit, great work ethic and amazing time management skills;
- A self-starter who can manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced video growth environment where you will get your hands into the details and.
- Please note that the interview process will require an in-studio test screening.
