We are seeking a creative and analytical Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and a passion for engaging audiences through innovative social media strategies. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing our social media presence across various platforms to enhance brand awareness and drive traffic to our e-commerce site.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals and target audience engagement.
Plan, film, and produce high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and website use.
Create high-impact content (video, photo, reels, stories, blogs)
Create compelling content tailored for different platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Utilize tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer to schedule posts and analyze performance metrics.
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content visibility.
Design eye-catching graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for social media campaigns.
Manage Facebook Advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategy adjustments.
Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader digital marketing initiatives.
Analyze performance data using Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
Proofread all content before publication to ensure quality and consistency.
Requirements
Diploma in Marketing, Graphic design, Business or equivalent work experience, with ideally some combination of Digital Marketing and Graphic Design, or a related field.
2+ years' experience in content creation and website management
Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or in a similar role. preferably in an e-commerce environment.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design tasks.
Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research techniques.
Experience with Facebook Advertising and analytics tools.
Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content.
Ability to think creatively and strategically while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
