What you do:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Content & Social Media, the Associate Marketing Manager, Content & Social Media is responsible for developing compelling, high-quality content across multiple platforms, with a primary focus on social media. The ideal candidate brings a strong grasp of social media trends, storytelling techniques, and audience engagement strategies. This role involves crafting content strategies and concepts, producing multimedia assets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive brand affinity and support broader marketing objectives.
In this role you will be expected to:
Support in the ideation, design and production of marketing assets, including social media posts, website content, email campaigns, etc.
Assist with developing a content calendar and plan monthly content for all owned social channels: Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
Immerse in social platforms, your goal is to create high-quality, engaging, relevant content including photos, videos and graphics that boost engagement but also expand our reach within our community
Develop, produce, and edit video/reel content to be used on our social platforms and can create storytelling techniques that will keep our audience engaged and showcase our brand online
Be equally comfortable in front of and behind the camera
Write engaging and on-brand copy that speaks to our audience
Schedule posts, stories and video content on all social media platforms
Assist with sourcing and managing UGC creators and influencers to produce captivating content
Stay attuned to the latest trends, best practices and find innovative ways to sculpt our brand's image online
Jump on in-the-moment trends while remaining authentic to the distinctive voice and personality of our brand
Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop cross-platform content strategies
Dive into data and analytics, analyzing content performance and leverage this insight to make data-driven decisions and assist in adjusting our strategy as needed
Who you are:
You have a post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
You have 1 - 2 years of progressive experience in social media marketing, content management, and brand management, preferably in the food or hospitality industry
You have strong knowledge of all social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.)
You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Emplifi etc.)
You have photography, videography and editing skills, transforming raw footage into polished content
You have knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
You are a creative thinker and storyteller who can create diverse styles and formats
You are comfortable in front of and behind the camera
You have strong time management, can handle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality
You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills
You have excellent writing skills including grammar, punctuation and creativity
You have an endless curiosity as to what motivates and inspires consumers
You have a passion for social media, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques
You are passionate about the brand and have a keen interest in food, sports, and the hospitality industry
