We are a locally owned and operated restoration company that responds to homeowner emergencies 24/7. The bulk of our work comes from a respected nationwide insurance company for which we are a preferred vendor for. As we're a small team, finding the right fit is very important to us.
About the role:
This role is responsible for properly organizing and documenting all contents that are removed from the home, and brought to our shop. It is also the incumbent's responsibility to determine if items can be sufficiently cleaned/restored, and returned or if the items are deemed: "non salvageable".
The right candidate will be well organized and have a high level of attention to detail. Strong communication skills are required. Competency with entering data into spreadsheets and documents is required. Additional industry specific software will be taught to the successful candidate. While this role has administrative duties, we're also looking for someone who is physically fit, and able to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Work environment includes: shop/office, flood conditions, post fire conditions, sewage back ups, outside (typically moving contents from homes to company vehicles) etc. The Contents Coordinator is also required to assist with: demolition, flood mitigation, sewage clean up, and contents manipulation.

Required:
You musthave at least 3 years of a clean Alberta driving history,
Class 5
only, no GDL
A smart phone to document contents
The ability to work as needed, regular hours are M - F 7:45 to 4:15, but all employees are required to be on call 24/7 for emergencies. We use a rotating schedule for this.
Overtime is sometimes required
Physically able to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must live in Calgary
