As a

Contact Centre Specialist

, you will assist our members over a variety of communication channels, uncovering and understanding their needs and life events, and making the appropriate connections within the SASCU team.

What you'll do:



Take personal responsibility for delivery of the SASCU Member Experience and contributes to a warm and welcoming environment over telephone, electronic, and digital channels. Deepen member relationships through identification of opportunities and personalized connections through contact channels. Advise members on a range of available products and services. Acknowledge member concerns and take appropriate action to resolve them. Respond to and process non-cash member transactions. Support networking activities to build our membership base and have a positive impact on the community. Support organizational goals by meeting sales and referral targets.

What you'll bring:



1 year of sales experience in a service-oriented environment. Demonstrated sales skills. Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen and convey information in a clear and welcoming manner. Strong problem-solving and analytical ability. High comfort level with technology and proficiency with digital systems. Attitude of continuous learning and development, including commitment to complete relevant training (including university level courses) within 1 year of attaining the position.

This is a temporary part-time (18 - 37.5 hours per week), Monday-Saturday position working within the 8am-8pm operating hours of the Contact Centre.
