consultative rainmaker
to open new logos, influence A&D, and close $100k-$500k projects.
Uncapped, GP-based pay (18% all-in at target), autonomy with accountability, and a founder who values precision and follow-through.
Why Ethos
We create premium, design-led workspaces--curating beautiful, largely Canadian-made solutions and delivering with in-house precision. Premium without the pretense. Fast, honest, execution obsessed.
The Role
We're hiring a consultative seller who opens doors, shapes specs with A&D partners, and closes meaningful projects. You'll focus on private-sector corporate end users (A&D influence welcome) with some disciplined RFPs.
What success looks like
Ramp (first ~9 months): $200k GP while learning our offer and territory.
Run rate thereafter: $1M+ revenue at 40% GM ( $400k GP).
Clean HubSpot pipeline, crisp proposals, proactive margin protection, reliable handoffs.
What you'll do
Build & convert pipeline through targeted outbound, events, and warm networks.
Lead discovery, frame options/alternates, and close projects.
Grow house accounts with discipline (no cherry-picking).
Partner with internal PM/design; host showroom/VIP activations to move deals.
(Guideline mix: outbound + events ~35-40%, farming ~30%, RFPs as the balance.)
What you bring
8+ years complex, high-ticket consultative sales in contract furniture or adjacent (commercial interiors, design-build, GC/PM).
Proven wins you personally sourced and closed at $100k-$500k+ (able to speak to GM% and GP$).
Trusted by A&D and GC/PM partners; strong writing/presentation.
HubSpot daily; CET/CAD literacy is a nice-to-have (not required).
Driver's license & vehicle for Metro Vancouver.
How you work (values)
Listen first, then advise. Protect margin to protect service. Detail-exact. Owner mindset. Positive energy. Our values: Aim for Greatness, Value Everyone, Show Up Fully, Enjoy the Ride.
This role isn't for you if...
You rely on inbound and avoid thoughtful outbound.
You treat CRM as optional or margin as a suggestion.
You talk over clients or need heavy management to execute.
Compensation & benefits
Base + GP-based commission; uncapped with accelerators.
Plan targets ~18% of GP all-in at performance (details shared in process).
Draw during ramp; recoverable-draw structure introduced in year two.
Comprehensive medical & dental, profit share, marketing/showroom support, EOS-run, low-drama culture.
How to apply (we only review complete submissions)
200-word "Best Deal" you sourced & closed >$100k (context, stakeholders, GM%/GP$, competitors, what you did to win).
10-account Metro Vancouver target list with a one-line "why now" and your first-touch angle for each.
One A&D reference contact who can confirm you've constructively influenced a spec.
