CARE Industries is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated

Construction/Yard Lead Hand

to join our team and become a part of our growing history. This is a full-time permanent position that will be executed at our Blackfalds facility. Hours can range from 40 to 60 hours per week based on production and customer requirement. This position will require availability from Monday through Saturday with occasional requirement on Sunday.

Essential Job Functions:

Comply with company safety policies and procedures Safe and efficient operation of Wheel Loader/Zoom boom/Forklift/Overhead Cranes Safe and efficient operation of power and hand tools Performance of duties outdoors in all weather conditions Willingness to work extended hours Performance of manual labor requiring repetitive bending and lifting

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to comprehend a project-based scope of work Ability to comprehend and read construction drawings Ability to develop workflows Ability to provide leadership Ability to follow all Quality and Safety policies/procedures in relation to work processes Ability to perform a wide range of duties and adapt to various circumstances Valid Driver's License and Clean Driver's Abstract Ability to work within a team environment Mechanical aptitude, and varied experience Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing, Welding & Fabrication, Millwright, Pipefitter, HET Mechanic, Civil/Structural Construction, Farming experience all considered and asset Ability to take and provide direction and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment

Education and Experience:

Previous experience essential Trade Certification an asset Strong communication skills: verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask

Compensation & Benefits:

Wage Range $25-$30 depending on experience $1.00/Hr. RRSP Matching after completion of 1 Year of continuous Service Alberta Blue Cross Benefit Package including Extended Health care, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability & Life Insurance, after Probationary period (90-day) completion. Overtime after 8 Hours per day and/or 44 Hrs. per week as required.
