Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools. Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving work processes.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods. Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Application question(s):

Must have own transpiration for job site to job site. Most work is rural south of Calgary on acreages. Operating equipment on many sites also and would be a great asset.
