Summary

As a Construction Technician, you will provide technical services to a wide variety of construction projects, provide hands-on services for onsite technical projects, coordinate equipment maintenance activities and be dedicated to quality, safety, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Hands-on concrete crack injection, concrete repair, utility/manhole hole sealing, soil stabilization for deep excavations, surface and underground grouting in mines, hydro-electric dam restoration grouting and controlling water inflows for tunnels Servicing equipment Mobilizing and demobilizing for projects Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately/safely Reporting on project activities and results to the Project Manager Following standard inventory procedures for site equipment management Performing other in-house duties as required.

Qualifications

At least 3-5 years of field experience in a construction environment. Knowledge of basic construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines. Safety-focused attitude and behaviour. Versatility - demands frequently change according to customers' priorities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive pickup trucks with 20' trailers. Ability to lift heavy loads. Willing to work extended and irregular hours - weekends & overnights. Ability to work out of town on 2-week rotations when required. Working in a team environment. Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
