Duties:
- Conduct construction surveys for highway and bridge construction projects.
- Use surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels to measure distances, angles, and elevations
- Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, maps, and reports
- Perform data collection and management tasks using GIS (Geographic Information System) software such as ArcGIS
- Assist in the development of survey plans and strategies for specific projects
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results
- Provide support in the creation of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings based on survey data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field preferred.
- Experience in structural layout of bridges is a must.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software such as AutoCAD / Civil3D
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to interpret maps, legal descriptions, and construction plans
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
