Job Title:

Construction Supervisor

Job Summary:

At Lane One Homes Ltd. we create innovation for the next generation of housing. We factory produce our steel framed homes and provide on site installation. We handle everything from the delivery of the unit to the final finishing touches. We are currently seeking skilled supervisor to join our team. Supervisors are responsible for overseeing projects in our factory and onsite. They are responsible for hosting meetings with teams of construction workers to establish project deadlines, safety procedures, work schedules and use their trade experience to participate in projects. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of employees to perform construction tasks to complete manufactured/modular homes. Tasks can include but are not limited to:

o Steel stud framing

o Welding

o Trim Carpentry

o Roofing

o Flooring

o Various other home finishing tasks

Use power and hand tools to cut and install materials.

Collaborators with other trades, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumber to coordinate work activities and be willing to assist when needed.

Maintain factory material stock and coordinate with purchasing manager

Inspect damaged material and repair or replace as necessary

Pick up materials from supplies as needed.

Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools.

Perform hazard assessments and site safety inspections

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure proper storage of materials and tools and disposal of waste.

Help foster a positive team culture for all direct reports and co-workers.

Manage basic level of employee issues and elevate as needed

Requirements:

Valid drivers license

Previous experience in the construction field

Ability to read and interpret architectural plans

Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

Knowledge with completing hazard assessments, inspections and the use of SiteDocs

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work tasks

Attention to details and problem solving skills

Ability to work well in teams as well as independently

Experience:

Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred)

Modular/Manufactured Homes: 2 years (Preferred)
