JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee multiple projects concurrently with hands-on involvement when necessary
Perform project site inspections to ensure progress is being met, quality standards are being upheld and perform close-out activities
Coordinate with various project subcontractors to maintain construction sequencing and ensure deadlines are being met
Organize materials for each project and deliver to and from job sites
Assist with the companies storage facilities maintenance and organization.
Assist the project manager with onsite review, quantity takeoffs and scope mapping
Assist with project procurement and estimating
Assist with solving any issues that may arise during each project
Manage day-to-day activities for the Project Management Team
Perform additional assignments as required by the demands of the specific project(s) or company related activities
Follow and uphold company safety policies
Follow and uphold company core values
RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of construction experience
5+ years of hands-on construction building experience doing tasks such as carpentry work, painting, flooring and drywall repairs
Works well in a team-oriented setting
Highly motivated, has integrity, and positive attitude
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A sufficient understanding of building science and construction processes
Familiar with reading blueprints/drawings
Familiar with MS Excel and Outlook
Able to put together a construction schedule and sequence of activities
Operates effectively in a busy, high volume and deadline driven environment
Possesses a valid driver's license, owns a vehicle and is comfortable travelling long distances
