Job Description

Scope of Work:

  • Communicate and administer all Safety policies and conduct site safety meetings.
  • Ensure subtrades are completing scope of work: Time, Scope
  • Resolve day to day field personnel issues and provide incident reports
  • Issue written infraction notices to anyone in contravention of Company or Health & Safety policies, procedures or regulations \xc2\xb7
  • Advise management of deficiency investigation results, provide prevention solutions and ensure compliance of policies to eliminate all deficiencies
  • Track all extra work and process in accordance with contractual obligations
Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Site Supervisor experience 8-10 years on large scale projects\xc2\xb7 Subdivision Servicing experience is required\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated leadership skillsContinuous improvement attitudeWell developed critical thinking skills and mental agilityAbility to read and understand drawings/specifications and have knowledge of GTA and/or southern Ontario municipal/regional standardsExcellent organizational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects Ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining safety and profitability\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills\xc2\xb7 Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions that allows the safe and profitable advancement of projects\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem solving skills\xc2\xb7 Strong mathematical skills\xc2\xb7 Work within project framework and adhere to all Company guidelines and polices\xc2\xb7 Ability to work with minimum supervision\xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of 365 Microsoft word\xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of PROCORE\xc2\xb7 Team player with a positive can do attitudeJob Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8-10 weeksSalary: $25.00-$35.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
  • French not required
Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Night shift
Experience:
  • construction: 5 years (preferred)
